Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean workspace.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by maintaining a steady workflow.
- Organize and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Prior experience in a kitchen setting, preferably as a dishwasher or prep cook.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
