Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health standards.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Properly store and label food items to ensure freshness and safety.
- Dispose of waste and recycling according to company policies.
- Participate in daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance routines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
